Serve with Liberty 2024 in Vietnam concluded with many positive and meaningful moments. More than 150 Liberty employees participated directly in activities at the two partner charity locations: Blue Dragon Children's Foundation (May 10, 2024) and Thien Binh Orphanage Center (May 17, 2024).

• Building the Garden of Peace with Blue Dragon - Total value: Over VND 100 million

Vườn Yên (The Garden of Peace) was created with the purpose of becoming a specialized psychological therapy space. Through this project, Liberty aims to support children who are experiencing severe emotional and psychological trauma.

Items Liberty contributed to the project include hand-pulled carts, wheelbarrows, water pumps, fertilizer, etc.

• Donating Essential Supplies to Thien Binh Orphanage Center - Total value: Over VND 100 million

Established in 1972, Thien Binh Orphanage Center began as a small shelter caring for 15 abandoned children. Since then, it has supported hundreds of disadvantaged children, including infants only a few days old. Thanks to the Center’s ongoing dedication, it has transformed the lives of many children, providing a loving environment where they receive education at public schools and are cared for with proper nutrition and healthcare.

Based on discussions with the Center’s leadership regarding their needs, Liberty donated essential supplies including 2.5 tons of rice, 5,000 packets of instant noodles, lunch for 160 children and elderly residents, etc., as well as additional essential items (diapers, mattresses, floor cleaner, etc.)

      1. Tan Minh Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities (Hoa Binh):

The school has more than 230 students who are children of ethnic minorities, of which more than 140 children are from very poor families who cannot afford to send them to school. In this project, Liberty's volunteer team supported:

• Provide 120-bed mattresses and 300 warm clothes
• Provide 230 learning kits
• Nutritious lunch for the whole school and gifts for all children

      2. The Orphans Institute & Bo De Phuong Duy 1st, 2nd and 3rd Primary Schools (Long An):

This is the place where more than 160 children who are orphaned by one parent, or orphaned by both, are raised. Liberty's volunteer team came here to cook and support the children as follows:

• 5 nutritious meals for 160 children
• File cabinet and 8 bookshelves for the school's new library room and 160 pillows
• Essentials for daily living and antibiotics and tonics

These activities demonstrate Liberty's consistent commitment to giving back to the communities. And this year's program has brought orphans and poor children with support both materially and spiritually.

Serve With Liberty 2022 implemented several meaningful initiatives to support education and improve living conditions for children in disadvantaged areas. 

• Construction of a new school facility at Chiềng Lương Primary & Secondary School, Chiềng Lương Commune, Mai Sơn District, Sơn La Province - Liberty’s contribution: VND 75,200,000 - Total construction cost: approximately VND 400,000,000 The project provides a safer and more spacious learning environment for students in remote mountainous areas.
• Continued support for 40 children in Tủa Chùa, Điện Biên (a program maintained since 2021), including an additional VND 4,000,000 to improve facilities at the local school.
• Support for school kitchens in Mường Nhé District, Điện Biên Province - Donation of 10 industrial gas stove sets - Total value: VND 13,700,000 This contribution helps ensure that boarding meals for students are prepared efficiently and on time.

• Feeding Children Project in Tua Chua, Dien Bien: feeding 40 children in 2021-2022 school year, along with a support of 2 million VND in facilities. 
• Building semi-boarding room Project in Dak Smar, Gia Lai: The aid amount from Liberty is 57,200,000 VND. This project with a total estimated budget of VND 666,000,000 from socialization capital with 6 semi-boarding rooms and 4 toilets. The project started on June 19, 2021 and was completed in September 2021 with the supervision of the school.
