Liberty Insurance Vietnam is now a Chubb company 

From late October 2026, Liberty Insurance Vietnam will operate under the Chubb name. Same protection. Same policies. New name.


 

What this means for you as a policyholder

Everything continues as normal.

  • Every policy stays in force, on the same terms, with the same cover.
  • Claims will be handled the same way, by the same people. Our phone numbers don't change.
  • Your agent is still your agent.

 

What will change

Our website: libertyinsurance.com.vn will redirect to chubb.com. If you've saved a link to a specific page, such as a product page or your login, it will automatically take you to the equivalent page on chubb.com. You won't need to update anything.

Our email addresses: Our team's email addresses will move to @chubb.com. Any messages sent to a @libertyinsurance.com.vn address will be automatically forwarded to the new address for a period of time. You do not need to update your contacts straight away, but we'd recommend doing so when you get the chance.

Policies from late October onwards: Any new policies, renewals, or policy documents issued from late October 2026 will carry the Chubb name. The cover, terms and conditions remain the same.

Our name When you call us, you'll hear the Chubb name rather than Liberty. Everything else about how we answer your call and support you will stay the same.

1. Why is Liberty Insurance Vietnam changing its name to Chubb? 
 
 

 

Liberty Insurance Vietnam was acquired by Chubb in February 2026. As the integration progresses, we are bringing everything under the Chubb name. The team, the products and the service you have relied on continue under the Chubb brand.

 

2. I'm an existing Liberty customer in Vietnam and my policy is due to renew soon. What do I need to know? 

 

Your renewal will proceed as normal. From late October 2026, your renewed policy documents will show the Chubb name. Your cover, terms and premium will not be affected by the change. 

 

3. Do I need a new policy? 

 

No, your existing policy remains valid until its expiry date. There is nothing you need to do.

 

4. Will my premium change? 

 

No, your current premium will not be affected.

 

5. Will my cover or policy terms change? 

 

No, your policy terms and conditions remain exactly as they were when you took out your policy.

 

6. How do I make a claim?

No. Our branch locations remain the same, and your existing agent will continue to look after your account. Their contact details are unchanged.

 

10. I saved the Liberty Insurance website as a bookmark. Will it still work?  
 
 

 

From the end of October 2026, libertyinsurance.com.vn will automatically redirect to the equivalent page on chubb.com, so your saved links will work. You don't need to update your bookmarks immediately, though we would suggest doing so at some point this year.

 

11. I have a Liberty Insurance email address in my contacts. Do I need to update it?  
 
 

 

No, not immediately. Any messages sent to a @libertyinsurance.com.vn address will be automatically forwarded a period of time. After that period, you will need to use the updated @chubb.com addresses.
